I'm a lana stan and as much as I hated this song the first time I heard it, now I love it much more after realising why lana is not heard enough. Lana's voice is just like the "snow that is coming down with no sound and all around." Just like the snow is making an ordinary beach extraordinary, the same way lana's voice is making this song extraordinary. Both taylor and lana showed us how a collab can be made in a more beautiful (yet weird) way. Ironical. Love Love just love ❤️❤️

She's been saying for years sometimes she can't sleep until she gets a song written down because it's just rattling around in her head and keeping her up. Seems weird to have someone else sing those words for you... backing vocals are suitable if you want someone to feature on a song with such personal material.

I don't care what anyone says, but Snow on the Beach is my most favourite song on midnights. And yes, I really like evermore. I recently went through the phase of liking someone, and though it was sweet and nice, it was quite doomed from the start, we never really knew each other and it really wasn't going anywhere. The line "you wanting me tonight feels impossible." really hits for me. For me it's such a mesmerising song, this strange phenomena about snow falling on the beach, is indeed weird but fking beautiful. The feeling of hopelessness and grief about not being wanted by the person u like, or the chances of things working out between you two being unlikely is captured by this song. Lana Del Ray's magical and soothing touch to the song is wonderful. I think it really works because of her as well. Kudos to Ms. Swift for writing this song. My most favourite one on Midnights!💙
