This is one of the songs I relate to the most and I believe most women can. It can be something as simple as a woman in 1960 subtly dropping a handkerchief in front of a man she wants to be noticed by. Today, it looks different but it’s the same principle. There are so many small things a woman can do to tip the scales in her favor when she really likes someone. Even when it looks like it, it’s not accidental, and the fact that Taylor sings of it as such a feminine, human thought process is so refreshing and it shows her deep understanding of meaningful relationships, as well as her own insecurities of letting her lover see this part of her, because she doesn’t know if that’d make her look scheming and dishonest in his eyes. Love this song.

This one is my favorite since I listened the album for the first time. At first I loved the romantic lyrics and the soft tune of her voice. Then the chorus came and I thought that was really funny, because I always saw Taylor at that way. Doing strategic things to be friends with other people. And then the bridge came and it really broke me. I remember just staring at my cellphone, speachless and with a wide open mouth. Those lines are exactly what I have been trying to do in the last six years. I don't know way, but I can't make people to like me. It's crazy how I see people meeting other people at the same moment as me, but in a few months they become best friends, sleeping in each other houses and sharing secrets, while I can't even get a deep conversation with someone. I'm trying to make them love me and trying to make it seems effortless. This is the first time I feel the need to confess because of this song. I'm on my way to become a mastermind!

I feel like, in a tour set up, mastermind is the song she'll use towards the end. To catch her breath, to interact with the audience. When she sings about how the stars aligned, the camera pans out, lights off, illuminated only by everyone's phones, like a starlit sky. Back then, we were talking (as friends) how not ready we are for a relationship, but as the time flies, one day I just woke saying, “I'm liking her, I definitely want to take care of her.”. I made moves (that's not obvious ofc) one her, just because I can't contain the feelings I have for her. We met in a world that nobody knows who you really are. When I saw here stories on Facebook, I admit that she's attractive but intimidating. We got close, from a simple Hi and Hellos to talk for hours. I liked her (I know, I easily get attached) but didn't have the courage to tell her, I ended up keeping it. I liked here not just because of her looks (that's just a bonus), but because of her attitude and personality. She's strong, kind, and cute (I know, I'm addicted to her.). So I made moves that wouldn't be obvious, I made jokes calling her our endearment right now. And it turns out that she also likes me. I know, right? I didn't plan for it, just for her to notice my feelings. Guess what? We celebrated our first anniversary last June. And I'm telling you, guys. As the day pass by, I am falling for her even more.
